Mission & Vision

Bogazici University Social Media Lab has been founded by Prof. V. Aslıhan Nasır and Prof. Hande B. Türker from Bogazici University Department of Management Information Systems in 2018. Our mission is to convey the knowledge and experience of senior academics, business professionals, entrepreneurs and researchers about the social media ecosystem along with pertinent concepts including, communication, marketing, business practices, data science, social life and philosophy. Our vision is to establish a converged relationship among academia, business and society via exploring and embracing behavioral, psychological, sociological and managerial aspects of social media.
